Experience both our zip lines; The Sentry Hill which takes you across the mountain ridge and the steepest line in the world; The Flying Dutchman!
Consisting of two lifts the Sky Explorer brings you to the top of one of St. Maarten’shighest peaks while the scenery unfolds below you, the Schooner Ride sends you surfing down the mountain in an inner tube.
Each adventure begins in this restored plantation house originally built in the 1700s. The Museum tells the powerful story of Trace Wilson who was born into slavery on the property in 1818 and her direct descendant Emilio Wilson. You will see depictions of what life was like on a plantation and learn about the customs, traditions, lifestyle and stories thatearnedSintMaartenthenicknameT͚heFriendlyIsland.
After your orientation at the transfer station, you will put your safety equipment and harness system for your Sentry Hill Zip Line flight over the mountain ridge. You will then board Lift 2 to the top of Sentry Hill; a brief orientation will prepare you to fly down themountain on the world’s steepest zip line, The Flying Dutchman. You’ll be attached to aflight line in a secure harnessed chair, launching you on the 1050-foot drop in elevation over 2800 feet to experience the ride of a lifetime.
To complete your top-to-bottom thrill ride, the Sky Explorer will take you to the SchoonerRide Station where you’ll surf down the mountain in an inner tube through the curves andstraightaways of a specially designed track. After your fun-filled adventure, souvenirs, attraction and photos are available for purchase in the gift shop. Emilio’s Restaurant,nestled among authentic antique colonial walls, offers a menu of classic favorites with a new twist. Food and beverages are available for purchase.

Sky Explorer:
- Children must be able to sit on their own and be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Children are not permitted to sit in parents’ laps, be in “packs” or anything that “straps” them to their parent or guardian.
- Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
Flying Dutchman:
- Height range: minimum 52 – 80 inches.
- Weight range: minimum 100 – 275 pounds.
- Pregnant women, those with heart, back and neck injuries are not recommended to fly.
- Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
Sentry Hill Zip Line:
- Height range: minimum 52 – maximum 80 inches.
- Weight range: minimum 80 – 275 pounds.
- Pregnant women, those with heart, back and neck injuries are not recommended to fly.
- Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
Schooner:
- Height range: minimum 42 – maximum 80 inches.
- Weight range: maximum 275 pounds.
- Children must be able to hold on at all times as it is one person per tube.
- Pregnant women, those with heart, back and neck injuries are not recommended to slide.
- Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
